Viu Manent Secret Sauvignon Blanc 75cl

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for this wine came from two vineyards in different sectors of the Casablanca, approximately 11 kilometres from the sea. The Las Dichas vineyard has encrusted quartz that lends the wine a mineral character.
The 2018–2019 season began with a deficit of rainfall at the end of the winter. The spring was cold, with precipitation in September and October, which allowed to postpone the first irrigations by 1 or 2 months. In general, this is a vintage with very good quality, where the white wines have a riper character and good volume on the palate.
Greenish-yellow with intense mandarin orange citrus aromas along with asparagus and tomato leaf. Fresh with saline notes on the palate due to the vineyard’s proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Ideal with fresh shellfish, cold soups such as gazpacho, ceviche, and sashimi. Best served chilled at 7º–9ºC.
