[su_expand height="110" more_icon="icon: plus" less_icon="icon: minus"]The Crystal Head bottle was designed with the creative spirit in mind by creative people. Friends, actor and comedian Dan
Aykroyd, of Blues Brothers and Ghost Buster fame, and artist John Alexander, who's work ranges from the beautiful to the macabre and can be found in the permanent collections of a number of museums ranges, designed the iconic skull-shaped bottle as a symbol of life, based on the pair's shared fascination with the legend of the thirteen crystal skulls. John Alexander regularly goes to the Mexican “Day of the Dead” celebration. According to legend, thirteen Crystal skulls held by native tribes in the Americas, the Navajo, Aztec and Maya, can be used to project positive energy and enlightenment. The Crystal Skull reflects power and enlightenment : only the best, to hold their multi-award-winning spirit.
Each Crystal Head bottle is manufactured to exacting standards at Milan-based Bruni Glass. The design process took over two years, but when the prototype was complete Bruni declared the bottle to be of unsurpassed complexity. Crystal Head does not use any additives in the production of their vodka. The factory and product is certified kosher, as well as gluten-free. Nothing is added to enhance or mask the taste. No glycerol. No citrus oils. No sugars.
For some curiosity, see what a Scottish forensic scientist recreated what it would look like if the bottle had been an actual person.
