Christmas Hamper 06 – The Irish Job

The Irish are well know for celebrating. And Christmas is no exception. Christmas in Ireland goes on for almost a month. From the 8th of December, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, till the 6th of January (included), another holy day, the Feast of the Epiphany, or Little Christmas as it is known in the West of Ireland, Nollaig na mBan in the rest of Ireland. Try a little hot Irish whiskey punch. Made with whiskey, lemon, cloves and a touch of brown sugar, it warms you up from the inside out. There’s nothing like the scent of cloves to get you in the Christmas spirit (pun intended).
