Glenfiddich was established by William Grant in 1876, with the first spirit running off the stills in 1887. The Speyside distillery recently doubled its production capacity to meet demand, as the core line-up continues to be incredibly popular around the world. Ranges in age from 12 to 18 years old. The name Glenfiddich derives from the Scottish Gaelic Gleann Fhiodhaich meaning “valley of the deer”, which is reflected in Glenfiddich’s stag logo. The water source for Glenfiddich Whisky is The Robbie Dhu springs nearby to the distillery.
